Wedding Dresses have come a long way since the Middle Ages when the brides’ dress reflected the bride’s social standing and indicated the extent of the family’s wealth to the wedding guest. Most wedding dresses before the late 1930’s, reflected the styles of the day. From that time onward, wedding dresses have traditionally been based on Victorian Styles.

White wedding dresses didn’t become a popular option until 1840, after the marriage of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom to Albert of Saxe-Coburg. However, the first documented instance of a princess wearing a white wedding gown for a royal wedding ceremony was over 400 years before, when Philippa of England, who wore a tunic with a cloak in white silk in 1406, married Crown Prince Eric of Norway, Denmark, and Sweden.
Wedding Dress - Don't like white, no problem Click To TweetWedding Dress Styles have come a long way to where you can design your own, neckline, skirt length, skirt poof, materials, backline, waistline, etc. Also, you can get your wedding dress in any color. Don’t like White or Wedding White; new color traditions are Blush, Rose, off-white, and Irovy. Still not what you dreamed your wedding dress would look it. Bold Colors are the new trend, in the wedding industry, or just a Bold color splash on your white wedding dress.
