HOW TO PLAN YOUR WEDDING DURING ANY SEASON
No matter when your wedding is the sunlight as a major factor in deciding when you’ll get the best lighting for your portraits. I’ve got some fantastic tips for all four seasons.
WINTER WEDDINGS
Winter weddings in Texas are my favorite. Probably because Adam and I got married in the Winter. One of the biggest challenges is the early sunset, which happens around 5:20 pm depending on what day you tie the knot. If you are a natural light lover, your ideal time to get your portraits done is before the sun sets, which is very achievable with a late afternoon wedding. Many Winter weddings need extra coverage.
SPRING WEDDINGS
Springs weddings in Texas are beautiful. They usually have perfect weather temperature wise! I do recommend having plenty of allergy medication in your wedding day survival bags if there is a flare up during portrait time. Spring weddings means that there could be potential blooms. If we happen to find any blooming trees or plants, it will be entirely worth it to get a few portraits with it! You’ll completely LOVE the results!
SUMMER WEDDINGS
Summer weddings in Texas are Hot! Like over 100-degree weather. I do love that there so much sunlight, for almost 14 hours, the light will last until 8:30 pm! Remember while you are planning our your wedding day to schedule a few minutes to slip out during the reception for some sunset portraits! You will NEVER regret this! This is the absolute best light of the summer day. Sneaking out during dinner or open dancing and no one will notice that you’re gone for a few minutes!

FALL WEDDINGS
I love the temperature and the colors! Don’t worry about color because all you need is one tree with some color to get the Fall Look. A bit of color can always go a long way! Your portrait time will vary entirely on your wedding date! We’ll be sure to discuss this when we confirm your final timeline!
